Statewide Anti-Trafficking Laws

  • HB 317 – Crime of Sex/ Human Trafficking

    • Synopsis: This act establishes the crime of patron of a victim of sex trafficking; sentencing for sex trafficking and patron of a victim of sex trafficking; and establishes a process for a vacatur of judgment for a conviction of prostitution.

    • Synopsis: This statute defines human trafficking in the first degree.

  • AS § 11.41.365 – Human Trafficking in the Second Degree

    • Synopsis: This statute defines human trafficking in the second degree.

  • AS § 11.66.110 – Sex Trafficking in the First Degree

    • Synopsis: This statute defines sex trafficking in the first degree.

  • AS § 11.66.120 – Sex Trafficking in the Second Degree

    • Synopsis: This statute defines sex trafficking in the second degree.

  • AS § 11.66.130 – Sex Trafficking in the Third Degree

    • Synopsis: This statute defines sex trafficking in the third degree.

  • AS § 11.66.135 – Sex Trafficking in the Fourth Degree

    • Synopsis: This statute defines sex trafficking in the fourth degree.

  • AS § 11.66.140 – Corroboration of Certain Testimony Not Required

    • Synopsis: This statute states that a victim’s testimony does not need to be corroborated by any other testimony or evidence.

  • AS § 11.66.145 – Forfeiture

    • Synopsis: This statute says that any property involved in the crime of sex trafficking may be forfeited at sentencing.
