Helping Your Community Be Preventative
What’s the Issue?
Child sex trafficking, as well as other forms of child sexual exploitation, devastate victims with immediate and long-term consequences. Such actions can result in psychological trauma (such as depression or anxiety), physical injuries, and even death.
Child sex trafficking occurs when someone under the age of 18 is advertised, solicited, or exploited for a commercial sex act—meaning something of value is exchanged for sexual activity. Under U.S. law, when a minor is involved, this is considered trafficking regardless of whether force, fraud, or coercion is present. This is the focus of One Bread Foundation's work, but it is important to note that children are also trafficked for forced labor.
At the One Bread Foundation, we not only help survivors heal but we also work to prevent trafficking by raising awareness. If you don’t know about or fully understand an issue, it’s hard to effectively prevent and fight back against it. Our goal is to help you be effective.

The Human Cost of Exploitation
Behind every number is a human being enduring unimaginable hardship. Trapped in a life of misery, victims are robbed of their childhood, their health, and their future. Without the comprehensive support and guidance they desperately need, they are left vulnerable to re-victimization and are denied the opportunity to heal, learn, and build a new life.
Our Commitment to End Child Trafficking
At One Bread Foundation, we are committed to breaking the cycle of exploitation. We fight this battle passionately because it not only destroys individual lives but also fuels dangerous criminal organizations. By raising awareness, funding survivor rehabilitation, and advocating for change, we strive to create a world where every child can live in freedom.
